In exactly one week from typing this, I will be on my way to JFK airport with the Joffrey Ballet School peeps in order to catch a flight to Moscow. I've been worried about this for about two weeks now. In a weird twist, I'm mostly worried about everything up until getting to Russia! I'm worried about getting extra stuff to my friend's apartment, worried about packing, worried about getting from the theater to the airport, worried about my suitcase backstage in the theater.
I'm sure that when I get to the airport and I'm sitting on the plane, waiting for my melatonin to kick in, I'll be suddenly panicking about everything else--dorms, classes, teachers, language barriers, etc.
But not right now.
I'm secondly worried because this is our Wednesday schedule for this week.

What? We're supposed to be at 35th street and 96th street at the same time, I guess. I'm going to be calling someone soon. Also this is weird because the tech notes will go past both curfews for most of the boarders, but I'm sure it won't go that late or there will be curfew extension.
It's definitely crunch time here.
I ran errands today, starting with a massage at the Joffrey School, where they fixed my back and then slathered me in a balm that was basically tiger balm on steroids (and something I will definitely be buying for the fall). I also bought my blue leotard for the performance costume, and since I'm cheap, I bought a cotton tank leo from Capezio. Finally, since I am going to be in Moscow for a month, after all, I restocked my supply of supplements, which hopefully will also give me extra room in the suitcase coming back for souvenirs, once I take all of those pills during the program. And believe me, I'm planning on souvenirs!
